Aleksandar Vlahović, Partner, EKI Investment was a Moderator of
the 2nd Pannel of the Economist Conference: CEFTA and Fast Moving
Consumer Goods Market in Southeastern Europe. The second Pannel
was entitled: CEFTA and regional companies-opportunities and threats?
International leaders in FMCG in the region-CEFTA chance or risk?
The pannel featured the following speakers: Spiros Pyrgidis, Member
of the Managing Board of Nestle Ice Cream Serbia, Slobodan Vucicevic,
Chairman of the Board, Droga Kolinska, Jan van der Oord, Vice President
for Southeastern Europe, A.T. Kearney, Verica Maraš, Financial
Director, 13. Jul Plantae Podgorica, Maciej Cwikiewicz, Senior
Associate, Kolaja and Partners, Nikola Mandić, CEO and a Board Member,
Director Group Serbia, Pero Dugić, Vice President, Oil rafinery
Modrica, Republic of Srpska were the speakers of the second pannel
at a conference that took place in Belgrade’s Hyatt Regency
Hotel on November 16, 2007.
The annual conference was aimed at deliberating the hottest issues
in this field in the light of the CEFTA agreement, while also dealing
with the current trends and developments in the regional consumer
market. The conference guathered members of the local and regional
governments, representatives of the international and local companies,
and emerging markets specialists.
